Our ministers and staff serve to teach, equip, and motivate the church. Each person is skilled at offering focused attention according to their own specialized training. Our ministry team works together with the elders, deacons, and members.

  • Kevin Owen - Preaching Minister

    Kevin has served as the Preaching Minister at College Hills since 2008. He and his wife Jana have three sons, Chase, Reid, and Trey. Kevin received his BA from Freed-Hardeman University and his M. Div. and D. Min. from Harding School of Theology. Kevin is passionate about preaching the word of God with urgency and relevancy, training young disciples, and helping the local church mature and thrive. 


    In his spare time, Kevin likes to spend time with his family, read, bike, and travel.

  • Wilson McCoy - Associate Minister

    Wilson has served as the Associate Minister at College Hills since June of 2010. In that time his focus has been on working with young professionals, life group ministry, preaching and teaching, and helping to cultivate an intergenerational focus in the life of the church. This focus on forming generations together resulted in his Doctorate of Ministry project that he completed in 2016 with Lipscomb University. You can read more about his project in the book Intergenerate: Transforming Churches Through Intergenerational Ministry (July 2018). 


    Outside of his ministry responsibilities, some of Wilson’s favorite things include: traveling to Disney World with his wife, making rustic bread from scratch, running to clear his mind and work off all the bread calories.

  • Johnny Markham- Family Minister

    Johnny began his role as Family Minister at College Hills in September 2016, after serving as the College Hills' Youth Minister for more than 31 years. He is a native of Columbia, Tennessee and a graduate of Lipscomb University. In addition to his responsibilities at College Hills, Johnny serves on the boards of Winterfest and Impact.


    He and his wife, Vicki, have three children - Mary Beth (Peach), John, and Katie and one grandson, Jack. Johnny has completed his quest to attend a game at all thirty current Major League Baseball stadiums!

  • Hope Sampson - Children's minister

    Hope was born and raised here in Lebanon, TN. Hope attended Middle Tennessee State University where she received her Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and Masters in Educational Leadership. Before coming to College Hills, Hope taught for 6 years at Coles Ferry Elementary. In her free time, Hope enjoys a good animal pun, attending Zumba classes, reading, hanging out with her friends and family, and watching cheesy Hallmark movies.

  • Alex Sircy - Student Minister

    Alex grew up in Goodlettsville, TN. Before moving to Lebanon, Alex served at University Church of Christ in Murray, KY, for 3 years as Youth Minister. He and his wife Christine married in May 2015 and have a dog named Georgia. 


    In his free time, Alex enjoys good coffee, watching whatever is on HGTV, and cheering on the Atlanta Braves, Georgia Bulldogs, Nashville Predators, and Tennessee Titans.

  • Kelly Anguish - Office Manager

    Kelly joined the College Hills staff in August 2016. She and her husband, Keith, have served in churches in Statesville, NC, Williamsport, PA, and Smyrna, TN. Kelly enjoys working with people and helping others.

    They have two children-Andrew and Luke. In her free time, Kelly enjoys watching Andrew compete in archery and Luke playing baseball. She also loves Tennessee Titans Football. 

  • Darren browN - Finance and Systems Management

    Darren began working with College Hills in January, 2003, and has served in a variety of ministry and administrative roles.  He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from The University of Alabama. Darren has been a high school football referee since 1994.

  • DiAnna boyd

    DiAnna was born and raised here in Lebanon.  She received her B. S. in Elementary Education at Tenn. Tech.  and her Masters in Guidance and Counseling at Trevecca University.  She is the mother of three children, Chris, Blake, and Brandi.  Chris and Blake have gone home to be with the Lord.  She is a proud grandmother of Lucas and Jaxson. She enjoys reading, all types of crafting, music, and acting in community theater.

  • Jayme Creswell - Ministry assistant

    Jayme joined the College Hills staff in October 2017 as a ministry assistant and database administrator. Jayme married Jim in 2000, and they have two boys, Preston and Garner. Jayme spends her time watching her boys play football, basketball, and baseball. She also enjoys UT football, playing with her dogs, and taking long walks on the beach.

  • Connie Prosser - Administrative assistant

    Connie has been blessed to serve at College Street/College Hills since July 1989. She has had various duties during her years here. She worked and lived in Nashville before moving to Mt. Juliet in 1988 where she and her husband, Bob, live on a farm. Their daughters, Jennifer Knott, Emily Hughes, and their families also attend College Hills. Connie enjoys cooking and spending time with her family, friends, and especially her grandchildren.

    Vicki has attended College Hills for 25 years and has worked in the children’s ministry here for more than 12 years. She is a native of Nashville, Tennessee, and a graduate of Lipscomb University.

     

    She and her husband, Reed, have one son, Reese.  

  • Zachary Bryant -Communications Coordinator

    Zach serves at College Hills with a digital communications focus. He is currently working on his Masters of Divinity at Lipscomb University and will graduate in May of 2019. 


    In his spare time, Zach likes to lift heavy things, run long distances, watch comic-book movies, play inspiring music, and spend quality time with his amazing girlfriend, Kayla.
