College Hills Student Ministry

The College Hills Student Ministry exists to equip students to be disciples of Jesus who go out into the world and make more disciples. We desire for the walls of our church to be as permeable as possible, as we seek to carry out the mission Jesus gives us in Matthew 28 to go and make disciples of all the nations.

Rhythm is an important word for us. We believe Jesus displayed different rhythms for life that we are called to lean in to. When we begin to live in rhythm and tune with God, then our lives begin to look more and more like Jesus.  We would love for you to be a part of this adventure with us.

CH Kairos

Wednesday nights at College Hills are called Kairos with our Student Ministry. Kairos is the Greek word for the “right moment” or the “suitable time.” Our clock is set to 4:15 which is in reference to Ephesians 4:15,

God wants us to grow up, to know the whole truth and tell it in love—like Christ in everything. We take our lead from Christ, who is the source of everything we do. He keeps us in step with each other. His very breath and blood flow through us, nourishing us so that we will grow up healthy in God, robust in love.

We believe that every time we meet is important, critical, and necessary. When we gather together we don’t want to be consumers, but rather we strive to view this time as an equipping and sending moment. Our time together is an opportunity for others to equip us, and for us to equip others, to go out beyond the walls of our church building and be “like Christ in everything,” – to be His disciples.

Kairos is in The Living Room from 6:30-7:30PM.
