1 Corinthians
Dr. Mike Moss, Fellowship Center 304/306
The Apostle Paul wrote 1 Corinthians (around A.D. 55) to correct a struggling, divided church in the corrupt city of Corinth. He addresses internal factions, sexual immorality, lawsuits, and disorderly worship, grounding his solutions in the gospel and encouraging believers to live holy lives that reflect Jesus.
Generation to Generation
Danny Camp, Adult Pod 202/203 (GPS)
"One generation shall commend your works to another and shall declare your mighty acts.” (Psalm 145:4)
What does God intend His church to look like? Throughout Scripture, we see God's people worshiping, serving, learning, and growing together across generations. Everyone, regardless of age, has a unique place in God's family, and the church is strongest when every generation is connected to the others.
In this class, we will explore the biblical vision for a church where every age matters and every generation has something valuable to contribute. We will listen to people from various generations sharing their faith, fears, and hopes for God's work in this world. And we will discuss practical ways to bridge generational gaps, cultivate deeper relationships, and build a congregation where everyone has a place at the table.
Women’s Ministry – The Book of Revelation: Living in Light of Things to Come
Taylor Moore, Lobby 106 (Glass Classroom)
NOTE: Karah Sprouse will continue her class from August 12 - August 26. Taylor Moore will begin the Revelation class on September 2.
Visions of the end of the world populate our movie screens and news headlines, causing us anxiety and fear. But, for Christians, the end times are not something to be afraid of. In the book of Revelation, God has provided a preview of what's to come so that we might confidently trust God with our future. In this series, Dr. Tony Evans will walk through the book of Revelation verse by verse, uncovering God's final plan for human history and our eternal destiny. This is more than a strange book of symbols--it is a call to worship God and live faithfully in the present.
