This will be the first day of the build, which means we will be moving and erecting walls.

Needed jobs for volunteers (men and women) include moving and installing wall panels, stapling foam/plastic to the bottom of walls, sweeping the slab, general nailing, installing installation panels on the exterior walls after they are in place, etc.

We will also need volunteers to provide breakfast, lunch, snacks, water, soft drinks, and energy drinks to the volunteers. We expect to need around 4-5 cases of water, 5-6 dozen energy drinks, snacks like granola bars, fruit, peanut butter crackers, etc. Breakfast is usually something like individual breakfast sandwiches, donuts and/or pastries, coffee, and juice.

You can also help by donating. All donations to College Hills will go directly to support the build on 9/12/2026. Checks made out to Habitat will go to support Habitat for Humanity in Wilson County.

Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to work on the site, but there is plenty of work 16- and 17-year-olds can do. This work does count toward Tennessee Promise hours.
