We all want to thrive.  No one wants to merely exist or just survive.  Yet life is complex and complicated.  In order to thrive, to really live, we need outside advice.  We need a counselor, a sage, a life coach.  In short, we need what comes only through years of living.  We need wisdom.  When God’s wisdom permeates our hearts we get the hang of how life works and we begin to thrive and make good decisions.  In this "Thrive" Sunday morning sermon series we will read the Old Testament book of Proverbs.  This book which is filled with ancient wisdom regarding so many practical issues ultimately points us to Jesus.  We will see that Jesus is the one in whom is hidden “all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.”  (Colossians 2:3)  Jesus will show us how to really thrive.
