Kevin Owen - Preaching Minister

Kevin became the preaching minister at College Hills in 2008.  Kevin and his three sons, Chase, Reid and Trey moved to Lebanon from Albuquerque, New Mexico where he served the Montgomery Church of Christ for 9 years.  While in Albuquerque, Kevin's wife of 18 years, Cindy Terrell Owen, lost a 6-month battle with cancer.  Soon after Kevin began his new ministry in Lebanon God blessed him with a beautiful and godly helper, Jana Graves.  On November 2, 2008, with the support of many wonderful College Hills members, Kevin and Jana were married.  Kevin received his undergraduate training from Freed-Hardeman University and his Masters of Divinity and Doctorate of Ministry degrees from Harding Graduate School of Religion in Memphis, TN.  Kevin is passionate about his Lord, his family and seeing the local church grow and thrive.

 

Darren Brown - Director of Finance and Facilities

Darren moved to Lebanon in January, 2003 (the same week we moved into the new building) from Tuscaloosa, Alabama.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Arts degree in business and management from The University of Alabama.  During his tenure in Lebanon, Darren has served in a number of ministry and administrative roles including College Ministry, Witt Family Life Center Director, Facility Management, and Finance Management.  He is also a high school football referee and
                             serves with the Board of Impact at Lipscomb University.

 

John Grant - Connection Minister

John has worked with College Hills since 2005. He is responsible for ministry development and coordination. His goal is to equip people with resources, support, and motivation to respond faithfully to God's call. John and his wife Amy have three daughters, and he holds degrees from Lipscomb University and Abilene Christian University.

 

 

Johnny Markham - Family Minister

Johnny began his new role as Family Minister at College Hills in September, 2016, after serving as a Youth Minister for more than 31 years.   In addition to his responsibilities at College Hills, Johnny serves on the boards of Winterfest and Impact.   He and his wife, Vicki, has three children - Mary Beth, John, and Katie.   Johnny has completed his quest to attend a game at all current Major League Baseball stadiums.

 

Wilson McCoy - Associate Minister      

Wilson began his work with College Hills in the summer of 2010. Before his arrival he completed undergraduate and graduate degrees from Lipscomb University (B.A. in Bible) and Abilene Christian University (Master of Divinity). During those years he worked with churches in Nashville, TN, Brisbane, Australia, and Ballinger, TX in a variety of roles. Currently his ministry consists of working with GPS, LIFE groups, and regular preaching and teaching at College Hills.

Hope Sampson - Children's Minister

Hope was born and raised here in Lebanon.  She has a bachelors degree in early childhood education and masters in educational leadership both from Middle Tennessee State University. Hope taught at Coles Ferry Elementary for 6 years. Working with children and their families is her passion.

 

 

Alex Sircy - Youth Minister

Alex was born and raised in Goodlettsville, TN. Before moving to Lebanon, Alex served the
University Church of Christ in Murray, KY, for 3 years as Youth Minister. He and his wife
Christine married in May 2015 and are excited to pursue their passion for Youth Ministry at
College Hills. In his free time, Alex enjoys good coffee, watching whatever is on HGTV, and
cheering on his Atlanta Braves, Georgia Bulldogs, and Tennessee Titans.

 

 

Michael Chambers - Student Ministry Intern

Michael is between his junior and senior year at Tennessee Tech university studying Comprehensive Special Education. A Knoxville native, Michael attended Hardin Valley Church of Christ, and was greatly involved in the youth group from 6th grade through graduation. At Tennessee Tech he is a leader at the University Christian Student Center (a college ministry sponsored by Collegeside Church of Christ).

 

 

Rachael Clark - Student Ministry Intern

Rachael is a junior at Lipscomb University where she is in her second year as a Resident Assistant. Ministry has been a part of Rachael's whole life and she is excited to follow her passion for youth ministry. Rachael loves sports, especially the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots, drinking coffee, and reading.
