Larry and Carol Locke recently shared with the College Hills elders and ministers that they intend to retire at the end of May. They plan to stay engaged in the life of College Hills so they will continue to maintain Larry's office at the church building. They are building a house in Lebanon and they look forward to many years as loving and active members of this congregation.

Along with the entire College Hills church, the elders and ministers are grateful for the amazing work of these fine Christian leaders. Larry and Carol have served faithfully with us since 1977. College Street thrived under their tireless, gracious, loving, and thoughtful leadership. Their vision helped us transition into the tremendous new facility at College Hills. Along the way, they were instrumental in developing hundreds of initiatives including Friendship Christian School, Hearthside, Fellowship House, Community Bible class, Brooks House, School Store, and a vibrant Children's Ministry. They have blessed not only our church family but all of Wilson county.

The elders and staff are working on a transition plan to make sure that their important work continues.  We ask that you continue to pray for all the leaders of College Hills, especially for Larry and Carol.

We want everyone to share in this time of giving honor to whom honor is due.  A financial gift will be presented to the Lockes on Sunday, June 4.  Everyone’s donations will be combined into a single gift for the special presentation.

To make a donation, click the "donate" button below to go to the secure College Hills church giving site and enter your information (choose the "quick give" option if you don't want to create a login).  When prompted, select the “Locke Fund” from the drop down menu.   Thank you for your generosity and love shown to Larry and Carol Locke.
