Saturday, April 17, parents of all ages are invited to share with Dr. Joneal Kirby from 8:30 to 12:30 in a workshop here at College Hills, “Smart Parenting.” Parents will learn how to discipline and encourage their child, organize and manage their home and family, solve problems and address challenging issues, and pass on their faith and values to their child.

On-Going Collections For Magi Boxes
We collect items for Magi Boxes all year but this year we will be concentrating on packing boxes for boys. On our trip to deliver boxes in December we ran out of boys boxes and guessed that girls boxes are more exciting for most people to pack. We decided that we would pack as many boy boxes as we can to avoid that problem. Boys in Honduras enjoy simple things like marbles and jacks. Items for Magi Boxes can be placed in the basket beside the aquarium in the children’s wing. |
